Our goal is to provide an exceptional service to firefighters around the world that enables travel without the cost of housing. Forget hotels, motels, inns, bed and breakfast, and the like, firefighters with houses, rentals, time shares, cabins, etc will list their housing for other firefighters to swap.

This concept was conceived during a cruise my wife and I took to the Eastern Carribean. As we laid on the beach, looking out over the ocean, the travel bug started festering inside us. One of us uttered, "Wouldn't it be nice if we could afford to do this every year?" And, over lunch, we started brainstorming. Firehousetrade is the result and, I'll be honest, it was primarily a selfish idea. We wanted to share the travel bugs bite with fellow firefighters so a FREE membership was established to allow the opportunity to take advantage of Firehousetrade.
